Additionally, it will present cultural performances at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Cal State LA on April 7th. These events will showcase the wonder of Eastern martial arts and underscore the significance of following one's conscience, inspiring people to use wisdom to resolve conflicts and encourage others to follow suit. About Tai Ji Men and International Day of Conscience:

Tai Ji Men is an ancient menpai (similar to school) of qigong, martial arts, and self cultivation. The culture of Tai Ji Men is rooted in the Tao tradition, passed down from generation to generation, serving as a wellspring of guidance and wisdom. Its mission is to carry forward the Tai Ji Men culture and promote the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of people worldwide. It operates as an international nonprofit cultural organization.

Tai Ji Men was invited to perform at prestigious venues worldwide, including the Sydney Opera House in Australia, the 2000 Summer Olympics, the United States Capitol Hill building, the Seattle Seafair Torchlight Parade, Disneyland, the National Theater and Concert Hall in Taipei, and the 2017 Universiade. In October 2023, the Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy marked the grand opening of its Santa Clara and Pasadena academies with a series of captivating performances that seamlessly blended tradition with modernity, highlighting the importance of peaceful coexistence between humans and nature. These performances are designed to imbue the audience with positive energy and heartfelt blessings.

The United Nations declared April 5th as the "International Day of Conscience" in 2019, aiming to promote peace, forgiveness, tolerance, understanding, and unity within the international community, and to collectively build a sustainable world of peace, solidarity, and harmony. Over the years, Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, the zhang-men-ren (leader) of Tai Ji Men, has led members of Tai Ji Men and the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) on visits to six continents to promote a culture of peace with love and conscience. In recognition of Dr. Hong and FOWPAL members' astonishing contribution of a total of 1.2 million volunteer hours dedicated to the United States, Dr. Hong was presented with the President's Lifetime Achievement Award issued by the office of the President of the United States in March 2023.
