Tino is technically royal in name only as Greece voted in favour of a republic in 1974 while his grandfather Constantin was on the throne.

His family is closely connected with the British royals as Prince William is his godfather, and Prince Charles hosted a gala at Highgrove to celebrate King Constantine's 60th birthday in 2000.

Tino was born in New York where his parents were then based, but they relocated to London in 2004 for their children's education.

His Instagram account, with more than 1.3 million followers, shows him boxing, cooking on a campfire in the desert, clowning for the camera with his siblings, playing a guitar and leaning against a motorcycle in a brooding James Dean-style pose.

He's seen shaking hands with world leaders, but also with Jordanian sanitation workers.

The death of Queen Anne in 1714 saw the end of Stuart rule, but not the end of the family’s bloodline.

Much as Jacobites championed the rights to the throne of the surviving Stuarts in the later 1700s, some historians still highlight their rival claim to this day.

First in the Jacobite line of succession is the current Duke of Bavaria, who is 80 and childless.

Wenzel (alma mater Malvern College) is the first heir in the alternative line of succession to have been born in the UK in centuries. The Liechtenstein royal family is one of Europe’s richest.

PRINCE LOUIS OF LUXEMBOURG
